RICK JARMAN (THE STORY SO FAR)

Ricky Jarman, singer, dancer, actor he does it all, and where do you start to write an article about a guy with so much talent, well I suppose the best place would be from the beginning.

Ricky Jarman is a guy who is determined to get his music across a broad spectrum of genres, he is not interested in a small targeted audience, he wants everybody to enjoy music for what it is. Throughout his youth and into adulthood Ricky Jarman has been determined and worked hard to succeed at what he loves doing, and to me, his music has been the one thing that has stood head and shoulders above anything else that he has done in his career. I love his drive, I love his style and mix that in with the fact that he is no diva and is a genuinely nice guy, this is somebody who really can go a long way.

Am not going to sit here and write an article saying how perfect Ricky Jarman is, because that would be a lie, he is a guy who is learning his craft along life’s footpath, and like the rest of us he is going to make mistakes, but Ricky Jarman is the type of man to go on and get better because of those mistakes and not in spite of them.

.Ricky’s music has been at the forefront of what he does for a long time now, and he has worked with some very influential people in the music industry such as Lou Pearlman of transcontinental records, who is responsible for working with musicians and artists like N’SYNC, BACKSTREET BOYS, AND BRITNEY SPEARS. He has also worked with Christian Diodati of Caliber records, this guy has done remixes for MICHAEL JACKSON AND MARY J BLIGH among others. Now this doesn’t mean that Ricky Jarman is some sought of superstar, but what it does tell you is that these people saw the talent and musicality in Ricky Jarman to want to work with him, and not count him as some sort of karaoke wannabe.

Ricky has appeared at many venues and in many magazines and has done his fair share of interviews, and they include MTV-AU, THE CANADIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL, VEVO, TOP FORTY RADIO, NEWYORK FASHION WEEK, AND THE HYPE MAGAZINE to name but a few. Ricky has also won BEST MALE R+B ARTIST FOR THE CAROLINA MUSIC AWARDS. Ricky Jarman’s latest music is his best yet, I would say that over the last couple of years his content quality, his lyrical genius, and his video production have been at the very top and in my opinion is as good as if not better than any mainstream artist today.

His latest release WITH A DEVIL is really fantastic, I have listened to it time and time again, and every time I enjoy it more, am not saying it will be everybody’s cup of tea, but as a piece of music, it really is fantastic work.There is a number of Ricky Jarman songs that I love, and Lucky is one of them, and it’s one of those songs that the more you listen to it the more you like it, and to me, that is the sign of a great artist.

Overall Ricky Jarman is an up and coming artist, and if you excuse the contradiction isn’t up and coming, he is already established. A fantastic singer, a fantastic dancer, and a fantastic actor, he uses all his talents to put out his best work, and he succeeds every time.

I do have to say that in the short period I have known Ricky Jarman he has come across as a dedicated professional to his music, somebody who always gives his best, and altogether a really nice genuine guy, and somebody I am definitely going to follow, and am sure because of who he is , this is one guy who is going to succeed.
