Look at the figures, there is no disputing that digital marketing through social media is the only way to go. If you look at the stats in the image 2.3 billion active social media users is a massive audience, and digital marketing companies have to utilise this, and I believe they are, to benefit their clients. The growth of the internet is rising every year and so is the use of the social media platform, and because of that marketing companies are able to target specific audiences to specific brands and services. Social media use alone has gone up by 10 and the use of social media through a mobile has gone up by an impressive 17%.

western Europe holds the highest percentage of internet users, while places like Asian countries like north Korea and chad and the Asian continent are struggling when it comes to internet usage. Are you connecting with the right audience on social media? or are you missing a trick?. You need to spend time thinking about who you want to connect and engage with, it's not about the blatantly obvious, but about finding something unique that can appeal to a certain audience. Then of course, you have to think about the people who are associated with your target audience, because there is no better medium than word of mouth. You have to take into account, what industries your target audience come from, and what they read, what are their personalities trait, and how likely are they to use social media, all these aspects have to be taken into account to be able to target your audience properlyIt's a good idea to keep spreadsheets while you are building a profile of the people you want to connect with, you may also want to keep a list of your key influencers within the communities you are targeting. All this can take some time, but do the job right and the benefits will speak for them selfs.
