POST BY-- Beauty by Reeva
Hey Beauties!
I decided to jump on the band wagon (even though I don’t usually like following the crowd) with this blue eye shadow movement. I have done a blue halo eye also as part of my color series a while ago before, click HERE to view.
For this look I almost didn’t post this as it’s not my best, I could have perfected it more but I was loosing natural daylight halfway through and wasn’t going to stop in the middle of doing my makeup.

But anyway I decided to post this even though this look was rushed, and I was having a really hard time with the eye shadows as it were not up to standard as I explain further on. Hope you still like it.
PRODUCTS USED:
FACE:
Foundation: Maybelline Super Stay Long-lasting Foundation (I’m doing a full review on this foundation in my next post)
Color corrector + Concealer:Â Clinique Beyond Perfecting Corrector (Apricot) and Beyond Perfecting Concealer (Moderately Fair)
Powder:Â Yardley Loose Translucent Powder (I need to get a new powder, this is almost finished and I keep repeating this powder in every makeup look)
Highlight: Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter – Molten Gold(a full review on this powder will be in my next post)
EYES:Â

Eye shadow: I really wouldn’t recommend it this shadow, it’s not pigmented enough, I tried spraying my brush, using my finger but the intensity wasn’t all there or what I expected looking at it in the pan. For intense color I would rather pay more for quality, highly pigmented eye shadow.
The brown transition shades were fine, easy to blend and pigmented from the Morphe shadows. But the 2 black shades were not as pigmented and not easy to blend. Again, with dark shades I would rather pay more and get a quality, pigmented eye shadow palette. Even on my lower lash line I struggled to blend it.
Eyeliner:NYX Matte Liquid Liner(I didn’t apply a wing, just a normal line on my upper lash line to hide the lash band)
Lashes:Â Ardell Demi Wispies
LIPS:Â
I went for a nude tone as the eyes were super dramatic.
