How To Choose The Correct Textured Blush

Blush can either make you look beautiful with a pinch of colour or make you look like the joker. The point of blush is to give your skin that natural flush. Blush has different textures such as the popular powdered blush, cream and liquid. Many people use powdered blush,so I jumped onto the bandwagon and used it too when I started wearing makeup. After sometime I realized it gives me colour but my cheeks look soo dry. So today’s blog post is all about how to choose the correct textured blush for your skin type.

I have really dry skin so most of my makeup products are cream/liquid based. So liquid and cream or even a tint is suitable for dry skin. You would think these textures wont be that pigmented but trust me you would be surprised. From most of the makeup brands I think Mac has the most variety in cream based blush. Cream/liquid blushes can even be used as a lipstick or lip tint. Cream blushes make your skin look healthy and dewy. Many matured skin ladies wear cream blush to make your cheeks look plump and hydrated.

Cream Blushes

If you have oily or normal skin powdered blush is for you. Powdered blush helps control the oils on your cheeks to make your skin look normal. So I think people with oily skin have more of a variety of shades to choose from. You can wear cream/liquid blush but you have to really set it well with perhaps a powdered blush or setting powder. People with normal skin have the best of both worlds because they can wear powdered or cream blush. Sometimes in countries with a harsh winter your skin tends to get dry so maybe opt for more cream products and set with a setting spray so it lasts the entire day.
